Fertility Doula Coaching πŸ‘

I know that fertility treatments are already expensive. If you need assistance with fees, please contact me so that we can work out something.

πŸ› Self-Care Routine

I will help you create a daily or weekly plan for self-care. We'll examine things that you need to do in order to be at your best during this journey.

βœ”οΈ Decision Making

I will help you explore all the options that are available to you and decide what options are right for you. We can examine what goes into each option, such as procedures, a general idea of what it entails, resources to learn more, and questions to ask your health professionals.

🌴 Relaxation Techniques

I will help you learn techniques that assist in relaxation before procedures, while administering medication, or even if you just start to feel overwhelmed. There are small relaxation techniques that you can do in just a few minutes to refocus. We can also find ways to talk with your medical team about any triggers that may make the procedures traumatizing.

πŸ“š Resources

I will help you create a list of resources that you can pull from as needed. These resources can include grants and financial assistance, support groups in your area for people experiencing infertility, mental health professionals that specialize in infertility, holistic practitioners that specialize in infertility, among many others. Each resource list will be tailor made for what will help you the most.

What does a Fertility Doula do?

πŸ—ΊοΈ Guidance

The world of fertility treatments can be a confusing place. I'm here to offer support and resources to make it easier. I can help you plan, organize medication, and come up with a schedule. While I cannot give medical advice, I can give you evidence based answers to questions and additional information about what different procedures entail.

πŸ“£ Advocacy

I can help you advocate for specific treatments, point you at resources to help pay for treatments, and counsel you on how to discuss fertility coverage with your employer's HR. And during it all, I can help you find the space to care for yourself.

πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ Support

I have a passion for justice in the medical world, and particularly the birthing world, for everyone. I understand that BIPOC, especially Black people, face discrimination in medical care and I want to help change that. As a member of the LGBTQIA community I also know how difficult it can be to start a family if you are outside a cis-gender, heteronormative relationship. I am always working to expand my resources to help communities who face discrimination or difficulties in fertility treatments.

Above all, I'm here to do what I can to ease the burden of fertility treatments.
